Thanks for visiting my pages at the Glendale Community College web site. You can learn here about the Business Administration and Oceanography classes that I teach here, and my other professional interests (e.g., Financial Economics, Resource Economics, Physical Geology, Environmental Geology etc.). These pages, and the links therein, will also give you information about globalization, outsourcing, rational exhuberance, earthquakes, particularly the seismicity in Southern California, volcanism, plate tectonism, El Nino, global climate change, atmospheric and ocean circulation, energy and other earth resources, and the related environmental issues.

Take-Home Final
Exam (due electronically on Oct 19)
Hi folks: Slect your topics for the case studies presentation and report and let me know at this Monday's (March 28) class, in order for us to avoid any duplications and/or form appropriate teams should such problems arise. As you know, we are fast running out of time. As for the topic, select any #2 "end-chapter" case study from the book or a similar case from elsewhere (online etc.) if you wish. Your report and presentation will briefly summarize the case, relating it to the principles and/or theoretical issues raised in the corresponding chapter, update the case from all the related online information you can find, and then answer (discuss!) the specific questions asked.
