        TAX PREPARER
        This certifi cate is designed to train students in the preparation
        of Federal and California state income tax returns. Students
        will develop a working knowledge of Federal and State Income
        tax law as it applies to individuals. Program Learning Out-
        comes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able
        to demonstrate ability to read and understand the contents of
        a corporation’s annual report ; develop a working knowledge
        of Federal and State Income tax law as it applies to individuals;
        and be able to prepare an individual tax return. The student
        must complete all CORE courses totaling 17-18 units.
        REQUIRED COURSES: ACCTG 101 or 110, 150, 155, 130, 156, 160.
        NOTE:  Courses taken more than 3 years before the granting of the
         certificate must have division chair approval.
