	Writing Assignments – Accommodations
In writing assignments, students with a mobility impairment may have difficulty using their hands, writing, printing and accessing a standard mouse or keyboard for word processing programs. Once again, fatigue can be an issue with lengthy writing assignments or exams. Some typical accommodations for students with mobility impairments doing writing assignments are: extended time for exams and quizzes, access to research materials through the Internet, computer modification to access word processing programs, speech input software, alternative keyboards, adjustable tables, assignments in electronic format.
