Large Lectures – Accommodations

 

In large lecture rooms, here are some accommodations that other community college and university faculty have found useful. Again, please contact the Center for Students with Disabilities for support.

  • Provide preferential and accessible seating.

  • Allow note takers.

  • Give course materials available in electronic formal.

  • Provide lecture notes available through email access.

 

  • Allow audio taping of class sessions.

  • Allow laptop computers for note taking.

  • Provide adjustable tables for wheelchairs. Contact the Center for Students with Disabilities to make these arrangements.
