A new logo. The same commitment.
In the coming months, you will see the emergence of a new logo for
Glendale Community College. A logo that expresses the foundations and

values of GCC with a bridge serving as the centerpiece.
The bridge has a strong connection to GCC both physically and
metaphorically. The majority of students use a bridge to access either
the upper or lower Verdugo Campus, while a bridge links the two largest
buildings on the Garfield Campus. Physically, bridges are all around us at

GCC. Symbolically, the bridge reminds us of the college’s purpose.
GCC strives to be the region’s premier learning community. The logo
embodies the faculty and staff ’s commitment to helping students “bridge”
the gap between students’ dreams and their educational goals. Our
learning and professional pathways are themselves bridges to success.
