Be specific about required reading
materials. Don’t mark a book as required if the students are not going
to have to read it.
Make this information available at
least a month before the start of the class. Many students may need alternate
media, such as Braille or audio books; these formats take
considerable time to create.
Provide printed or web-based materials
which summarize content that is delivered orally.
Create printed and web-based materials
in simple, intuitive, and consistent formats.
Use/create only accessible web pages.
Provide text descriptions of graphics
presented on web pages.
Use captioned videotapes.
