Co-morbidity

The percentage of students with ASD who have other conditions is high, including the following:

·        Anorexia nervosa

·        Anxiety

·        Attention deficit disorder

·        Learning disabilities

·        Borderline personality disorder

·        Depression

·        Obsessive-compulsive disorder

·        Developmental or intellectual disability

·        Tourette Syndrome.

 

The most common comorbid condition among adolescents is depression.
