Mobility Impairments

  

 

 

There are many varieties of

neuro-muscular or orthopedic impairments that can impact on mobility. These impairments may be congenital or result from an illness or accident or just daily living.

Some of these include (but are not limited to):

  • amputations,

  • spinal cord injuries,

  • Multiple Sclerosis,

  • arthritis,

  • Lupus,

  • Cerebral Palsy,

  • strokes or cardiac conditions,

  • Muscular Dystrophy,

  • Polio/postpolio,

  • paralysis,

  • broken bones, sprains,

  • repetitive stress injuries.
