GCC has a variety of programs available to reinforce your continued success at school and beyond.

                                 SUMMER BRIDGE:

Summer Bridge is designed to help new students become familiar with and have exposure to college
life before they begin in fall. It provides the opportunity for new students to learn about important
campus resources and college life, all while getting acquainted with faculty and staff. Students will
be introduced to meta-majors, career exploration, financial aid and the CC Promise Grant. It’s an

                                  excellent way to begin your college experience.

BLACK SCHOLARS, GUARDIAN SCHOLARS, LA COMUNIDAD

GCC’s Learning Communities are designed to help provide support and guidance to our students,
to encourage opportunities for campus involvement, develop students’ personal characters, foster a
sense of belonging and to help students build community. We work in collaboration with departments
across campus to increase students’ personal, academic, and career success. The learning communities
provide a safe space for students to come in and ask questions, celebrate cultural diversity, meet other
