How about that…. a
trick question right off the bat!
Of course no one
can guarantee any student will pass a class. But with a
cooperative effort between the student, the instructor, and DSPS, we
can assure that our students are given the greatest chance at
success.
It is the student’s
job to master the essential requirements of your course.
It is the
instructor's job to assure that all students in his/her classroom are
given access to the curriculum, in accordance with federal, state,
and college mandates.
It is the job of
DSPS to:
►Determine the educational limitations and
appropriate accommodations of students with verified disabilities
►Inform faculty and students of their rights and
responsibilities
►Assist instructors in their efforts to provide equal
opportunities for successful completion of their courses.
