Of course no one can guarantee any student will pass a class.  But with a cooperative effort between the student, the instructor, and DSPS, we can assure that our students are given the greatest chance at success.

 

It is the student’s job to master the essential requirements of your course.

 

It is the instructor's job to assure that all students in his/her classroom are given access to the curriculum, in accordance with federal, state, and college mandates.

 

It is the job of DSPS to:

 

►Determine the educational limitations and appropriate accommodations of students with verified disabilities

►Inform faculty and students of their rights and responsibilities

►Assist instructors in their efforts to provide equal opportunities for successful completion of their courses.
