           a couple that has had a disagreement

  • anxiety may make the student hesitant to approach an instructor with questions,

  • test anxiety (which many students experience) may be magnified to the point of immobility,

  • students may have particular problems with receiving, processing and recalling information during times of stress,

  • students may respond disproportionately to negative feedback and changes,

  • A student with a psychological disability may need to build time into their schedule for therapy and/or support services.
