College Programs for High School Students
A.
Fall and Spring Semester
1.
The Superintendent/President of Glendale Community College may admit high school
students as special part-time students for one or more courses of instruction
if recommended by the principal of the high school and if the student has
parental consent
2.
These students must attend high school classes
for a minimum day during the regular school year.
B.
Summer Session
1.
The Superintendent/President of Glendale Community College may admit high school
students to attend summer session classes if recommended by the high school
principal and with parental consent. Such students must have availed themselves
of all opportunities to enroll in an equivalent course in his or her school of
attendance.
2.
The number of high school students recommended
by the principal to attend summer session at Glendale Community College
may not exceed 5 percent of the total number of students in the high school who
have completed the tenth grade immediately prior to the time of recommendation.
