Board Policy

 

Interview by Police

 

Regulations regarding interviews and removal of students from the College by a police officer:

 

A.                 Whenever a Glendale officer calls at the College to question a student and the officer is not known to the College, the officer should be requested to produce his identification card which bears a photograph and a full description.

 

B.                 Full cooperation with the police is desirable, and it is recommended that when so requested by an officer, the Dean of Student Personnel Services of the designated representative should call the designated Services or the designated representative should call the designated student to the office for interview and questioning by the officer.

 

C.                It is recommended that the College notify the police department of al crimes and thefts which are committed on campus.

 

D.                Exposure cases encountered to or from College or on the College grounds should be reported to the police as soon as possible after they take place.
