Credit-No Credit Courses

A student not on probation may designate two  courses per semester (selected from course(s) designated as Credit/No-Credit in the current college catalog) for Credit/No-Credit. The courses designated must be outside of courses required for the student’s major.  Such courses shall be disregarded in determining a student’s grade point average, but grades of No-Credit will be used in the determination of progress probation.  The number of Credit/No Credit units earned may not exceed six (6) exclusive of those earned in courses which are graded only on Credit/No Credit.  The administration will adopt procedures to implement state regulations as they appear in the Education and Administrative Codes.
