Tutoring and Sale of Materials

 

A.               A.  Instructors shall not give private lessons for additional compensation to their own
           students enrolled in the College unless such students have been taking private
           lessons from the instructor before enrolling in his/her College course.

 

B.  Academic employees shall not sell materials to their own students.

 

C.  Instructor-initiated materials can be sold by the College Bookstore with no
      financial return to the instructor. Commercially published textbooks authored by
     College staff are exempt from this portion of the policy.
