Board Policy Title IX, Education Amendments of 1972 Compliance Policy WHEREAS Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in all education programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance, including employment, curriculum, counseling and guidance, physical education and athletics; BE IT RESOLVED that all aspects of the Glendale Community College District’s program, curriculum, counseling and guidance, physical education and athletics are free from discrimination on the basis of sex; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Title IX compliance procedures are being implemented in all divisions, department, administrative areas and work stations of the Glendale Community College District resulting in non-discrimination on the basis of sex in all areas specified under the provisions of Title IX; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all employees of the Glendale Community College District are charged with the responsibility of complying with the provisions of Title IX and the approved procedures and related regulations and guidelines. |
