Administrative Regulation

 

Continuing Education

 

1.         Regular college credit courses offered by the continuing education division of the Glendale Community College District are applicable toward the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree.

 

2.         Registration in college credit classes should be completed during the regular college registration period.  Students are encouraged to enroll in classes as soon as possible.

 

            a.         There is no provision for auditing college credit classes.

 

b.         Students desiring the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree are advised to take the pre-registration examinations, and confer with a college extended day counselor prior to registration in classes.

 

3.         Requirements for the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree shall be listed in the official Glendale Community College catalog adopted annually by the Board of Trustees.

 

4.         Procedures for dropping college credit classes or withdrawal from college shall be listed in the official Glendale Community College catalog adopted annually by the Board of Trustees.

 

5.         Costs

 

            a.         No tuition fees are charged for college credit classes.

 

            b.         Students are required to supply their own books and supplies.

 

            c.         Students are required to pay a health service fee.

 

d.         Materials fees are charged in certain classes according to Education Code regulations.
