PSYCHOLOGY FOR TRANSFER

The Associate in Arts in Psychology for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically intended to satisfy lower-division requirements for a baccalaureate degree in psychology at a California State University. The knowledge and skills offered in this degree lead students to develop foundational knowledge in the field of psychology including those topics and issues related to global, national, and local aspects of the field of studies.
The Psychology AA-T degree requires completion of the major and the CSU General Education (40 units) or IGETC (37-39 units) requirements.
All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.

2. MATH 101, 120, or 220B, or 1 years of algebra in high school with a grade of "C" or better
3. CHEM 110 or 1 year of high school chemistry (with lab) with a grade of "C" or better and a satisfactory composite of test scores for the Mathematics and Chemistry Placement Exams.
