PHYSICS FOR TRANSFER

The Associate in Science in Physics for Transfer Degree provides a foundation in physics and mathematics for students planning to transfer into a baccalaureate program in physics or physics education. Successful completion of the transfer degree in Physics guarantees the student acceptance to the California State University to pursue a baccalaureate degree in Physics or a related field.
The Physics AS-T degree requires completion of the major and the IGETC (37-39 units) requirements.
All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Science degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.

PHY 101 and MATH 104 PHY 103 Engineering Physics (III) 5

Units for the major may be double counted for IGETC. Elective units to reach the 60-unit degree requirement must be CSU transferable.
