Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to apply literary and rhetorical concepts in order to critically read, write, think, and research.
Students completing an AA degree in English develop core competencies in several areas including communication, critical thinking, global awareness, information competency, and personal responsibility. This is achieved through the study of texts and by enhancing their skills in reading, writing, and research.
