What certificates can a Verdugo Fire Academy cadet earn.
A cadet can, after succesfully completing all requirements
necessary for the course may earn several other California State
Fire Training and Education System (CSFTES), California
Specialized Training Institute (CSTI), and Fire Service Training
and Education Program (FSTEP), certificates above the Verdugo Fire Academy completion certification these
could be:
ICS 100 and 200 | River and Flood Rescue |
Trench Rescue Operational | Haz-Mat First Responder
Operational | Basic Wildland S-190 | Vehicle Extrication | Low
Angle Rescue | Rapid Intervention Company | Rescue Systems I | Confined Space
Rescue Awareness | Fire Control I-VI | Weapons of Mass
Destruction
These certificates and any others that
Verdugo Fire Academy might offer in it's course of instruction
can be earned by the cadet if, the cadet is present for all days
of instruction for that course, and successfully passes all
tests and exams that are required.
