TAX PREPARER

This certificate is designed to train students in the preparation of Federal and California state income tax returns. Students will develop a working knowledge of Federal and State Income tax law as it applies to individuals. Completion of the required courses will provide students with the foundation necessary to prepare an individual tax return, and to understand the contents of a corporationís annual report.

This certificate does not satisfy the major requirements for the Associate in Science degree.
